Residential Rebates

APS residential incentives for solar PV are currently listed as $1.75 per DC Watt. APS has asked the Arizona Corporation Commission for a new budget and schedule for rebate applications filed from December 2010 on. Based on this, we expect the new rebate to be between $1.45 and $1.75 per DC Watt. You can find out more up-to-the-minute information on the APS Renewable Energy website.

Commercial Rebates

APS commercial incentives vary from $2.50 per DC Watt for a small (less than 30 kW) system, to as much as $0.225 per kWh for larger (greater than 30 kW) systems. APS has periodic application windows throughout the year at which time they evaluate incentive applications on a competitive basis. You can find out more up-to-the-minute commercial rebate information on the APS Renewable Energy website

SRP

SRP residential incentives for solar PV are currently listed as $1.00 per DC Watt. To find out more about the SRP renewable energy program, you can visit their website.

Commercial Rebates

SRP commercial incentives vary from $1.00 per DC Watt for small systems (less than or equal to 30 kW) to $0.147 per kWh for larger systems (greater than 30 kW). Find out more about SRP commercial incentives at on their website.

Federal and State Commercial & Residential Incentives

Incentives change constantly. A full list of incentives that is fairly well up to date can be found online at the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency.

  • A Federal Tax Credit exists that is equal to 30% of the system cost for all tax paying entities.

  • A U.S. Treasury Cash Grant in Lieu of Tax Credit equal to 30% of the system cost for all commercial tax paying entities exists.

  • The state of Arizona Tax Credit is equal to 10% of the system cost for all Arizona Tax Payers. The maximum tax credit is $1,000 for residential and $25,000 for commercial.
