Martin Holdgraf
Operations Manager
Martin has personally overseen more than 300 solar installations totaling in excess of 3 MW (megawatts). His expertise is in developing accurate, realistic project schedules, logic sequences and phasing plans to ensure project success. He has proven experience in managing subcontractors and field crews for optimum performance and efficiency, while adhering to the projects guidelines. Some of Martin’s more recent accomplishments in the Arizona’s solar industry include:
ROC Solid Investments, LLC (Medical Complex) - Phoenix, AZ
Design, build, install 27.6 kW solar PV system. Panels were directly mounted to new construction parking canopies. Actual production on this system exceeded SRP’s expected production, resulting in 108% of anticipated utility rebate being paid to the customer.
Phoenix Civic Space Urban Park Solar Shade - Phoenix, AZ
As the first major solar power/art project in Arizona, this PV system consists of four undulating shade canopies creating an ever-changing shade pattern throughout the park.
Porter Acme Building - Phoenix, AZ
There were two primary design objectives with this 34kW solar PV system—maximize incentives and make a statement. PerfectPower was able to overcome shading issues on the roof by elevating the array. This also made the array very visible from the ground, which was extremely important to the customer. This system should eliminate approximately 70% of customer’s utility bill.
Optima Biltmore Towers Photovoltaics & Shade - Phoenix, AZ
Arizona’s first solar high rise and SRP’s first commercial program project was completed in 2006. On Optima’s green roof, PerfectPower designed and built two systems which utilize Atlantis panels. PerfectPower coordinated UL approval of these panels.
Martin’s is certified in SunPower’s University - Solar Design & Installation advanced programs; Fronius; SMA; Outback; PV Powered; Solectria; and Unirac. Additionally, Martin is certified with the North American Board of Certified Energy, Practitioners (NABCEP Level 1); SEI-Solar Design and Installation Program, and Licensed K 11 Electrical Contractor for Residential and Commercial Jobs.

SubPrime Solar Energy, Solar by the Pound, an Expensive Myth
Would you ever buy a home by determining the value in "dollars per pound"? It's like buying a car based on color or tire size. In the solar electric world, buyers use dollars per DC watt as a similar "Goofy Measure of Value".
